ABOUT ME





  Hey guys!! Welcome to my blog. How are you guys? Hopefully, we are always in a pleasant state of health.

  Since this is my first ever blog, I would like to introduce myself.
 
My name is Mohd Izzat Habiburahman bin Mohd Azizan.You call me Izzat and I am  20 years old . I was born in Kuantan in the state of Pahang and grow up here with my beloved family until this day. My previous study before pursued in tertiary education was in Kulliah As-Sultan Abu Bakar in Pekan, Pahang in 2019, and finished my study in STAM (Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia )  in the same year. Thus, I had a desire to pursue my study at The National University of Malaysia, unfortunately, my fate had been written that I couldn't pursue my study there.It was quite surprising that I have been accepted to IIUM, although it is my fourth selection in UPU. For the first time, I'm resisted continuing my study here, however, I realized that university selection is not a big problem as long as you have a specific aim to achieve in the future. 

I have listed a few reasons why IIUM still the best institution for me in seeking knowledge.

1. International-local community. It is no doubt,  mixing between Malaysian and International students has generated a competitive environment among students from a diversity of aspects, in language, culture, and comprehending the lessons. This challenging environment could be the best occasion for me to engage with many people from different races and expand my social circle, also as the biggest factor to keep working hard throughout 4 years here.  

2.Practicing English and Arabic languages as auxiliary languages is a basic requirement to study here. This actually could boost the value of students in the future. Undoubtedly, it is the major factor that IIUM students have the capability in both languages more than the other universities, precisely giving them advantages when they hunt for a job. Hence, learning at IIUM give me a lot of opportunities to enhance my skill in English and Arabic languages, whether for my communication, listening, and writing.

3.Good social environment is the major factor that influences individual ethic. Students that study in IIUM will enjoy living in an Islamic environment, whereas you can have a sharing session in usrah group, listen to the talk session by the ustaz in the mosque, performing prayer together. There are a lot of societies such as PEMBINA that promote volunteering for the community and practicing the best ethics wherever you go, and honing every member with leadership skills. It is fortunate for me to live in the positive surrounding which can improve myself to be a better person in leadership, social life and have the best manner to the others.

carbon footprint

  Carbon footprint. The first lecture with DR Izyan was quite interesting, which the main topic of discussion was carbon footprint, I did not hear about it before and didn`t have any idea about this whether its meaning, how its works, and what effect on the natural environment. However, after two hours of being in class and listening to the lecture`s clarification, I realize carbon footprint is one of nature issue that had been associated with household, organization, event, or product since thousand of centuries ago.
