Work in one team - project proposal

Hey guys, its project time, since the project proposal submission is around the corner, It is a must that every group already has their own theme for the project either project ideas from our own lecturers or creative ideas taken from discussions between group members . For the proposal project, the main issue taken into consideration is related to resolving issues in the community related to Sustainable Development, since this is our main focus in this subject.

The Process
Our group had a discussion via Google meet and whatsapp because  three of us could not meet each other because all of us stay at home in different state. However, as a result of our discussion that, we agreed to implement a tree planting project in derelict areas in our settlement area. The main objective of this project is to prioritize the rehabilitation of the environment in our area as well as greening and beautifying the landscape of the community environment. In general, the cultivation of trees in vacant space also includes vegetables, fruits and fowers. Frankly , our project is still in process and the details of each component of the project like the exact budget, the fundraising source, and the prediction in short and long-term are still under discussion. We also divide the task fairly between us to make it easier to complete before the project deadline

 The Challenge
The biggest challenge we face is the lack of communication, despite being able to communicate through social media, but I can ensure that face -to -face discussions are more effective for project discussions like this because it can avoid disagreements or misunderstanding among us. Also, being in different places gave us a challenge to do this task especially to collect project -specific data such as the total area of derelict land between areas. Surveying in the community in groups is certainly easier than working individually.

Thats it. Stay tune for our final project proposal result!!! 🙃🙃

Individual role and Sustainable Development Goals

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030. The 17 SDGs are integrated—that is, they recognize that action in one area will affect outcomes in others, and that development must balance social, economic and environmental sustainability. Through the pledge to Leave No One Behind, countries have committed to fast-track progress for those furthest behind first. That is why the SDGs are designed to bring the world to several life-changing ‘zeros’, including zero poverty, hunger, AIDS and discrimination against women and girls. In order to fulfill these global goals, the countries involved, the international authorities and the global community,  need to work together, cooperating with each other, and have same desire to achieve these global desires towards 2030.
