End of the semester (project proposal video)

Hi everyone, welcome to my last blog entry.
It is quite sad that we have reached at the end of this sem.It was a very valuable experience and lesson for me to be in the class for this subject.  There are many new things that I have learned throughout the period in this class, each topic highlighted by Dr izyan has open my mind and enhance my knowledge especially on sustainable development things. Therefore,  I am aware that sustainable development is not only related to the environment but all factors that provide stability to humans are also taken into account.  These things greatly affect every judgment and behavior in my life.

So, for the final assignment, we need to prepare a Video related to the project proposal that has been made.  For me, despite not being able to create this video with group members, but the cooperation between us have prevent any problem to accomplish this assesment . So, the final result of this video, we managed to produce a video that explains our project proposal which is planting trees in derelict areas in theorical and  practical which are been presented in the Video, although we unable to produce a video with people in  community due to the pandemic but we have tried our best to describe how the real situation of our project is.  In general, I feel very proud to be in a group where the members are very supportive and help each other in producing of any idea for the tasks given
In conclusion, our group has published our project proposal video on youtube.  Check it out, our Video on the link below

Individual role and Sustainable Development Goals

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030. The 17 SDGs are integrated—that is, they recognize that action in one area will affect outcomes in others, and that development must balance social, economic and environmental sustainability. Through the pledge to Leave No One Behind, countries have committed to fast-track progress for those furthest behind first. That is why the SDGs are designed to bring the world to several life-changing ‘zeros’, including zero poverty, hunger, AIDS and discrimination against women and girls. In order to fulfill these global goals, the countries involved, the international authorities and the global community,  need to work together, cooperating with each other, and have same desire to achieve these global desires towards 2030. The teachings of Islam do not separate the spiritual and worldly aspects of an individual’s life; it states laws which cover lives from all angles. The beautiful religion of Islam never stresses on hardships or giving up on social life; rather a balanced life is encouraged and taught “….Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship…..” [Qur’an, 2:185] We are blessed with a religion that teaches us spirituality in such a beautiful way that helps us stay close to our Creator. Apart from the five prayers a month’s fasting, annual charity, and once in a lifetime hajj, you may offer nafl worships, too. This nafl are dear to Allah and the rewards are huge.  But, balance is more important. The balance between worldly and hereafter things are very emphasized by Our prophet Muhammad according to a hadith : Prophet...
